Living room and upstairs family room, each with TV, DVD and a queen-size sofa bed. One full bath with tub and shower, plus 2 bathrooms with showers. Large kitchen with island, counter seating, wall oven, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Free internet with wifi. Entire cabin recently re-carpeted.

Situated in family friendly Lemmon Lodge, this meticulously maintained cabin is within short walking distance of downtown Grand Lake, yet quietly insulated and nestled among the surrounding lodge pole pines. Plus, you’re only ten minutes away from the majestic beauty and spectacular scenery of Rocky Mountain National Park. Enjoy the clean, crisp air, numerous activities and unmatched relaxation of one of Colorado’s premier vacation spots!

The town of Grand Lake was originally an outfitting and supply point for the mining settlements of Lulu City, Teller City and Gaskill. By the mid-1880’s, it had become a tourist destination due to the natural beauty of the area. Since 1915, the town of Grand Lake has served as the western portal to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Summer activities include boating, kayaking, sailing, water skiing, paddle boarding, fishing (including right off the point in Lemmon Lodge), trout fishing, golf, volleyball, horseshoes, biking, mountain biking, hiking and backpacking (including overnight) in Rocky Mountain National Park and horseback riding. This area is extremely popular with photographers – in terms of both scenery and wildlife (including elk, moose and Osprey). Plus shopping, restaurants, the Rocky Mountain Repertoire Theatre, and museums.

Note: If you’ve visited www.lemmonlodge.org, you may have noticed that it also shows cabin descriptions and a map with numbered cabin locations. However, this cabin is labeled on the other website as Cabin No. 28. While this cabin has always been No. 23 (since 1991), a recent “re-plat” of Lemmon Lodge (that required the approval of the Town of Grand Lake) changed its platted identification to No. 28. Nevertheless, for reasons of continuity and tradition, the owners have decided that this cabin will remain “No. 23” for rental purposes.
